Peak girlhood is making princess cones together ⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖ ࣪ If you’re hosting a princess cone making party, I’ve got just the tutorial you need!

What you’ll need:

• Poster paper
• Pencil & string
• Fabric (I bought mine at my local thrift store)
• Hot glue gun
• Tulle
• Decorative materials: ribbon, pompoms, felt, etc.

Step 1: Creating the cone base

First, tie a piece of string to a pencil. Next, from one corner of the poster paper, hold down the string and with your other hand, guide the pencil to create a curved line starting from the next corner of the paper. You should get the shape as shown in the middle photo.

Step 2: Attaching the fabric

Cut your fabric in the same shape as your cone base but make sure to leave at least an extra inch all around. Proceed to hot glue the fabric down onto the paper. Then roll up the paper to create the cone shape and secure it by hot gluing the edge.

Step 3: Decorating

This part is up to your creative design but play around with ribbons, pom poms, felt, etc. and secure everything with hot glue. Here are some of my friend’s cones to help you with design ideas ⋆౨ৎ˚⟡˖ ࣪

Step 4: Adding the cone train

Cut two strips of tulle to your desired length and hot glue them inside the tip of the cone.

Step 5: Adding the straps

In order to secure the cone to your head, you’ll want to hot glue two strips of ribbon to opposite sides of the cone’s bottom. Remember to take into account the length of your head and being able to tie a bow.
